Formula 1: MiamiGP
The Miami GP at the Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens, Florida is the second Formula 1 GP to take place in the USA. It’s inaugural race was in 2022 and, at least until 2032 when the contract has to be renewed or dropped, there will be an F1 Grand Prix in the Sunshine State. Despite plenty of general criticism, I had a great time. Granted, I only went for FP1 and FP2 as this was when tickets were at their most.. ahem, “affordable”. Entry was $330 with seat assignments and another $70 for parking. Afterwards I spent roughly $180 in food, drinks, and merchandise. That was way more than I thought I would spend, even as one of my good friends paid for a majority of the drinks, thanks JM!
The pictures in this post are some of the sights at the parking lot circuit. Even though it was expensive, hot, and expensive we all had a great time walking around, experiencing the fan zones, watching the Porsche race, and most importantly watching the F1 cars fly around the circuit in an awesome display of mega mechanical engineering.
