Rome

Il Colosseo

When in Rome do as much as you can. Visit the Forum, see the Coliseum, go to the Trevi, kiss near the Pantheon, drink at a rooftop Terraza. This was another ancient city that had me wanting to explore everything.

We will be visiting la Città Eterna again. I felt there was still so much to see and experience.

The city is safe to walk during the day. We exited the Forum and ended up in a farmer’s market hidden within a warehouse. There were no tourist, I couldn’t even tell you how we found it. That’s the beauty of the journey, getting lost in a new country can pay off sometimes.

Sunet in Rome

I’m a believer in learning the language of the places you visit. I thought it was something people did but I have found that many people choose to plan their trips anticipating others will understand them. That isn’t always the case. Yes, Rome is an international city but showing respect to the people of the country you are visiting helps break the ice in a lot of situations. Learning some basic Italian helped us with getting around the city, interacting with the locals, and getting us some perks I don’t feel we would have received had we have stuck to only English. Always feel free to DM me on IG with any questions. Ciao Ragazzi.
